Is anyone on?
i am, just catching up on work and stuff since i’m done with finals now.
With a smirk on his lips, he laughed lightly, “Whatever you say, doppelganger.” He watched her walk around the room, taking in every inch of space, and she seemed surprised at the interior, like she knew something he didn’t, and he became curious.
“Curiosity? Why would my house induce curiosity?”
She had been in this room many times before in her dreams and she was never alone when she was in it. She could always see and hear someone else but their faces were never clear, kind of like she was trying to suppress a memory and now struggling to remember it only the memory wasn’t her own. The sounds of her heels clicked along the floor as she continued walking about.
“Why does anything induce curiosity?” she asked not really sure how to answer it. Telling him she dreamed about it just didn’t seem like the right thing to say.

Damon thought about extending his fangs and pushing her against the wall, that would have instilled fear in the curious young girl, but he decided against it.
“What brings you to my humble abode, doppelganger?”
“Okay” she said as she looked back at him as she made her way around the room “why do you keep saying that? first of all what the fuck is up with that and second of all, now say it with me” she said taking a pause and pointing to herself “Evangeline, Eva, Eve, Evan, not dopple-whatever” Eva said before she resumed walking around the room.
“I said before, curiosity.”

Damon watched her spin on her heels and look around the parlor of the boarding house, a smirk still gracing his lips. Within a millisecond he had appeared behind her, his nose running down her neck, smelling her sweet scent, “Well I’m death.”
“So unless you want to die,” He walked around her and fell back onto the couch, “You should leave.”
Eva laughed slightly looking back at him out of the corner of her eyes. “Oh, right, death. I’m sooo scared” she said rolling her eyes and yet smirking slightly for a moment. She watched him as he walked around her and over to the couch. She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned her weight to one side. “Takes a lot more then sniffing me to scare me” she said “death doesn’t really do it either.” Eva dropped her arms to her side and sighed before walking around. She was the type to put on that fearless front, even if she was afraid, which in this case, she wasn’t.

“You know, you shouldn’t be so cocky.” A smirk graced his lips and he sipped at the whiskey, “You’re trespassing, how do you know I’m not the type to slit your throat and bathe in your blood?”
Damon wasn’t the type of guy to slit a person’s throat, more the type to rip it to shreds with his teeth. He also wasn’t the type of guy to bathe in blood, but rather he would drink someone completely dry.
Eva shrugged as she drank more of the whiskey a slight smirk making its way upon her face. “Well” she began before taking another sip of the whiskey, nearly finished with it, “Maybe” she continued before pushing off the wall and walking towards him “I just like to live on the edge” she said before finishing the whiskey and placing the empty glass down on the table before spinning around on her heels and walking away, looking around the rest of the room, just like she dreamed it, more or less.

His eyebrows furrowed. This girl was crazy, absolutely nuts and he didn’t even understand what her ramblings were about and he felt himself loosing brain cells just standing next to her.
She was a typical human, which made him scoff and laugh, but she was an Elena doppelganger, which meant she had value to him.
“Eva,” The name swirled around his mouth like smoke, and tasted it on his lips, “I approve.”
She needed to figure it out. This house. What was so special about it that she was dreaming about it in vivid detail. “Oh, well, I’m so glad you approve of my name” Eva began her tone laced with sarcasm “Otherwise I was gonna have to go out and change it.” she said as she drank more of the whiskey he handed her moments ago. “Don’t think you’re off the hook about the doppleganger thing but I’ll let it go for now.” she said as she leaned her body lazily against the wall behind her.

Welcome back to Mystic Falls, I guess.
Evangeline I presume?
Oh, let me guess. You want me for some stupid whatever, you want to kill me or you want to protect me, or you just don’t give a damn.

Doesn’t anyone ever just wanna take me to Disneyworld?

Welcome back to Mystic Falls, I guess.
This girl was giving him attitude like no one had ever dared to before. He liked it, just a little bit.
“I’ll call you whatever I want to call you, you are on my property after all.”
His head dipped and he watched her mutter underneath her breath, and he only smirked at her inner battles.
He walked into the living room and started pouring another glass of whiskey for his guest- if that’s what he could call the intruder, and passed it to her. “So, doppelganger, what brings you here?”
He realized his mistake of calling her a doppelganger as soon as she said it, but he hoped she wouldn’t understand what what he was going on about.
“How about you just call me Eva and call it a day, ‘kay?” she asked looking over at him arms crossed over her chest. She hated to be called names such as sweetheart, unless she knew and like the person calling her them. She didn’t know him and therefore she didn’t like him. Eva followed Damon out of curiosity more than anything else, she raised an eyebrow when he handed her a glass of whiskey before taking it from him and drinking some of it. “Dopple-what-now?” she asked looking over at him confusion planted across her face. “Lets just call it curiosity by the way” she said, it had been the truth, just not the whole entire truth. She didn’t really want to get into the dreams and seem crazy to a complete stranger, without taking her eyes off of him she took a sip of the whiskey.
